Carl is interested in climbing and robotics, which is a pretty neat combo! He just graduated from CU Boulder with a masters in Aerospace Engineering, and is hoping to find a job that can keep him in Boulder with abundant access to camping, hiking, and climbing, and near the friends that have become family out here. Carl is easily one of the smartest people I've met, but his friendliness is one of the first things you'd notice about him. It was great getting to walk around Pearl Street to take his portraits, we'll have to do it again now that he doesn't have that mustache any longer!
