Sam and Isabel got married yesterday! Their ceremony and reception was hosted at Evergreen Lakehouse, providing stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The day was elegant and beautiful, and the love these two have for one another was so obvious in the way both of them were just glowing. Every detail was perfect, from Isabel's dad making everyone cry while praying over them during the ceremony to family and friends cracking jokes during toasts that were as touching as they were funny. It was such an honor to get to be a part of their day and photograph the incredible moments of their first looks, first kisses, and first dances as husband and wife.
My day began with arriving at the house everyone was getting ready at to find that the groom was missing! What sounds like a nightmare speaks volumes to the mood of the day. While Isabel and all of her girls were getting ready, Sam and the boys disappeared just to grab a late lunch. There was no stress- it was simply a day where both Sam and Isabel were surrounded by people they loved, were relaxing and having a good time.
Isabel's first look with her dad was so emotional, with both of them unable to hold back tears of joy. Isabel's first look with Sam spoke of how happy they both were to be getting married! Neither could stop smiling and Sam could not take his eyes off of his beautiful bride!The day only got better from here.
The rest of the evening was personal and perfect. Toast after toast from family and friends had the entire room cracking up. They also spoke volumes of just how special Sam and Isabel are and how wonderful their marriage is going to be. Isabel and her dad had the most surprising and hilarious choreographed father-daughter dance and Sam and his Mom danced to "Dancing Queen"... it was so obvious how proud both sets of parents were. After a night of dancing, Sam and Isabel ran off through a glow-stick tunnel to go begin their lives as a married couple!
