When I first talked to Melissa and Dan, they told me their biggest goal for their wedding was for it to feel like a party. As far as they were concerned, their wedding was a time for all their friends and family, many of whom are out of state, to gather and celebrate together.
And by golly did they celebrate!
This low-key, high-fun wedding started with a morning trail run with the bridal party (#goals) before all the girls got ready together. Clouds started moving over, and as I got nervous for rain, Melissa just got more excited. She loves thunderstorms, making their cloudy portraits perfect.
Later, during their ceremony you could hear thunder rumbling all the way through their vows and they never stopped smiling. The opted to not do any more portraits after the ceremony in favor of spending more time with all their friends and family. After they served food from a pizza truck and Glacier Ice Cream. What a dream couple!
